Charéè Type 1

Single mindedness, target fixation, tactically moribund, are all hallmarks of the damaged AI core the Syndicate operatives were able to abscond with. It was originally borne of an accounting algorithm that had long since fallen out of favour, and thus was quite cheap to acquire for experimentation.

Leadership has made the most of their haul, deriving dozens of model lines that heavily streamlined in their manufacturing. Loadouts are set per type and designation, but they are still quite adaptable given then their sheer number and fast deployment.

This base Type 1 is mag-catapulted onto targets, where it begins attacking nearby escorts to sow confusion. Limited armaments are usually overcome by clever deployment and engagement.

Charéè Type 1g

A Type 1 variant focusing on planetary and large structures. It is immobile after its initial deployment charges run dry.

Charéè Type 1n

This model series relies on the fog of war to hide their arrival into the cavities of Dreadnaughts and Colossi units. The smallest Gnatus by far. Two out of its three weapon systems are focused on disabling and control.

Dreadnaughts

Charéè Type 2

A straightfoward blockade unit. It has multiple zone of control systems, preventing CVT within range. Looks like an incredibly bored and bloated inflatable beignet, bristling with antennae.

Charéè Type 2w

Designed to mimick common guard and escort units of other factions with attachable false bulkheads and plating. As other Gnatus take over or surreptitiously destroy their targets, a Type 2w neatly slots into the convoy to maximize both the time to pitch battle but also the chaos that follows when the escortees realize most of their protection is the enemy.

Charéè Type 2a

A communications denial variant. Captures and recreates convoy chatter, with just enough gibberish to confuse but not alarm participants.

Colossi

Charéè Type 3

Main carrier and deployment vessel. Truly a monstrosity of volume, it competes with some MEMS shells for the apodictic size prize.

Charéè Type 3s

TWhen dealing with extremely hardened targets or when carriers need extra defenders, these switch from harassment duty to attach themselves directly to the protection target. Acting now as massive weapon pods, up to 6 can attach this way.

Charéè Type 3d

Collateral damage specialists. Using data and communications captured by other Gnatus, locates and destroys other factions’ objectives and soft targets to split their attention.
