Named for a rather simplistic humanoid.
Geoff was a humanoid from a nondescript station, orbiting around an unremarkable planet. Geoff, a person who wanted very much to visit a Tier 4 planet he read about from a fifth-rate discarded travel brochure stuck to the bottom of his plasticine workboot for over a fortnight. A planet only slightly more titillating than his origins.
Unfortunately, his physical characteristics presented a bit of a problem. He was too exotic looking to ever pass for the native species of the planet, which as the most mundane humanoid ever birthed, was quite the accomplishment. Geoff was desperate.
Fortune was his strong suit thankfully, as hazardous work that no normal person would touch, paid handsomely. He set about to buy a solution, and as news of his plight spread, the brilliant to the bogus enshadowed his foyer. From a biologist’s anaplasia tonic that only burned his skin, to elaborate form fitting costumes that made him look ridiculous, he tried thousands of surefire things.
Things were looking bleak for our dear Geoff, no small feat given the sum total of his life so far, until the day that Nebin the Artificer showed up...
