Origins
Their evolutionary ancestors hunted for metal extrusion formations among the rocky substrates in their local environment. Earliest members of this subspecies adapted to their environment by increasing their cognitive abilities at the expense of some of their martial prowess due to a lack of normal predation stresses. Consumption of raw minerals and metals gave way to processed ones.
Sexual dimorphism; females have highly, sometimes to the ostentatious, intricate scale ornamentation with body sourced metal fully and directly present from head to cloaca versus males who are somewhat plain but also fully express metal across all portions of their bodies. Q-binus powers are derived from their blood analogue that acts as a quantum entangled amplifier of ferromagnetic particulates
Morphology, Traits and Proclivities
A race of bipedal hominids. Two subspecies are from Primi Robos, the Empyr’s originating planet, with a third borne of a single unremarkable planet in the doldrums of the universe. An Aurum Elementum is currently emperor of the Dracovirum Empyr. Matriarchal society.
All Dracovir share a love of tangible value items, as high quality examples of their chief nutritional metals and minerals, depending on the tribe, are useful for maximizing the success of and enhancing the breeding and the maturation of juvenile Dracovir.
Species identification and representation:
Foldable wings sprouting from the back. These have additional decorative substructures based on lineage. Some tribes are noted for flight, others have only vestigial wings.
Clawed 6 digit appendages most closely related to human hands. Metallic or bone protrusions possible
Highly angular faces. Metallic or bony protrusions possible
Geometric patterns and protrusions, also based on lineage
Among both subspecies, individuals may have wings capable of sustained flight. This appears to be a randomized, nonhereditary mutation, only occasionally popping up.
3 to 13 meter height range, based on tribal lineage.
Young are live birthed, coated in a rocky shell lining that nourishes them for the first few days. Size is at birth is about 1 foot, with the scales a ruddy pink for Elementum, ruddy orange for Lucaetum, and a dull prismatic mix for [Redacted]. Fledglings quickly consume their coating, developing into Pupus (pups).
